1. Aspergillus – Allergenic and/or Toxigenic – Causes allergic reactions and respiratory infections – Commonly found on damp walls and surfaces in the home
2. Chaetomium – Allergenic and/or Pathogenic – Exposure can lead to skin and nail infections – Commonly found in water damaged buildings 
3. Stachybotrys (Black Mold) – Toxigenic – Commonly found in wet or damp places including but not limited to: bathrooms, basements, and laundry rooms
4. Aureobasidium – Allergenic – Can lead to infections in the nails, skin, or eyes-  Commonly found in grout in kitchens and bathrooms
