- Acremonium – Pathogenic and/or Toxigenic – Can lead to diseases in the bone marrow, other organs, and the immune system – Commonly found where there has been flooding and in damp locations
- Mucor – Allergenic – Exposure to this mold can lead to severe health issues such as a fungal infection – Typically found near air conditioning units or in damp carpets
- Cladosporium – Allergenic – Causes allergic reactions and respiratory issues – Commonly found in carpet and other fabrics in the home
